
Bloomberg Government has hired Cristiano Lima-Strong to cover the financial services industry.
He will start next week.
Lima-Strong has been at Tech Policy Press as associate editor for the past year.
He had been at The Washington Post writing a newsletter focused on tech policy in Washington and how it affects major stakeholders around the country.
Lima-Strong preciously worked at Politico, where he covered tech policy and politics with a focus on the congressional debates around antitrust, data privacy, content moderation and emerging technologies. He is the former author of “Morning Tech,” Politico’s tech policy newsletter, and has served as a contributor for other tip sheets, including “Morning Media” and “California Playbook.”
His past stops include freelancing for Al Jazeera English and interning for NPR-affiliate WHYY. Lima-Strong earned master’s and bachelor’s degrees in political science at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania.
