Bloomberg editor Shankar exits from DC bureau

Vivek Shankar

Vivek Shankar, an editor for Bloomberg in Washington D.C., has left after almost 17 years with the company.

Before that, he served as deputy team leader.

He has held various other roles at Bloomberg, including assignment editor, reporter, technology reporter and reporter on the general assignment team. Prior to joining Bloomberg, he had worked in Mumbai.

Shankar has a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
