Bloomberg appoints Kane its Ottawa bureau chief

Laura Dhillon Kane

Laura Dhillon Kane will join Bloomberg as Ottawa bureau chief. She will begin on May 1 after returning from parental leave.

Previously, Kane worked at The Canadian Press for more than eight years. There, she served as a film/TV reporter, reporter/editor and Ottawa news editor. She also reported for The Toronto Star and interned at The Vancouver Sun.

Kane is an award-winning journalist who graduated from the University of British Columbia.
