Bloomberg News has tapped Lynn Doan to serve as managing editor of technology in Europe and the US East, where she will oversee the global cybersecurity team.
Recently, Doan served as managing editor of energy and commodities news in the Americas.
During her more than 11 years at Bloomberg, Doan was an energy markets reporter, team leader for power and gas Americas and team leader for power and renewables Americas.
She covered power generation, electric transmission, energy policy regional transmission organizations and independent system operators for SNL Financial. She was an energy reporter at The Hartford Courant and wrote for the Los Angeles Times.
She interned at the Las Vegas Sun and The Independent. Doan has a B.S. from Boston University.
