Blockworks announced the following editorial hires:

Katherine Ross has joined as a senior breaking news reporter. Recently, she was a video correspondent and host at TheStreet. She worked as a managing editor at The Insider. Ross graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in New York. Be sure to congratulate Ross on Twitter.

James Cirrone

James Cirrone has been tapped to serve as a breaking news reporter. Previously, he interned at Bloomberg, where he helped write and copyedit the Sydney and Hong Kong editions of Daybreak, a morning brief for global financial professionals. He also wrote the Bloomberg Close Americas Edition, a newsletter for a younger audience. Cirrone graduated from the University of Maryland, where he worked at the student paper.
