BizTimes Milwaukee names Thomas managing editor, Meyer associate editor

BizTimes Milwaukee has promoted Arthur Thomas to managing editor and Maredithe Meyer to associate editor.

Thomas was previously serving as an associate editor. He joined BizTimes in 2015 as a reporter covering manufacturing and economic data. Before that, he was at the Waukesha Freeman, where he has worked as a reporter and managing editor.

In his new role, he will be looking at “special projects, reporter coaching, event planning, print publication planning, website and social media data analytics and reporting.”

Thomas graduated from Carroll University.

Meyer joined in 2015 as an intern and became a full-time reporter in 2018 covering the retail, restaurant, sports and hospitality beats. In her new role, she will be copy editing, page proofing and reporting.

Meyer is a graduate of Marquette University.
