Kelly O’Grady

CBS News business journalist Kelly O’Grady has been named as a co-host of “CBS Saturday Morning.”

She joined the Network in 2024 as a MoneyWatch correspondent reporting on the latest financial news and economic trends.

Prior to joining CBS News, O’Grady was a correspondent and fill-in anchor at Fox Business, with stints in both New York and Los Angeles. While at Fox, she focused on business, markets, and technology, reporting extensively on issues such as economic policy, the regional banking crisis and AI regulation.

Before her career in journalism, O’Grady worked at McKinsey & Co. in Boston, where she advised CEOs and top industry managers on their most pressing business challenges. She also developed deep expertise in finance as a member of Disney’s corporate strategy team, helping execute multibillion-dollar M&A transactions and building the company’s direct-to-consumer streaming efforts.

O’Grady earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies and East Asian Studies. She received high honors for her thesis on Chinese politics and served as the president of both Harvard Women in Business and Harvard Television.
