The Fund for American Studies will honor veteran journalist Neil Cavuto at its 33rd Annual TFAS Journalism Forum + Awards Dinner on Nov. 10, 2026, in New York City.
Cavuto will receive the Thomas L. Phillips Career Achievement Award.
The award is presented annually to recognize the accomplishments of a leader who has made significant contributions to journalism through a long and distinguished career. Past recipients include Mary Anastasia O’Grady, Lance Morrow, Brian C. Anderson and William McGurn.
Cavuto is an award-winning business journalist who served as senior vice president, anchor and managing editor of business news at Fox News for 28 years. Throughout his distinguished career, he has covered some of the nation’s most significant business and political events, including the Sept. 11 attacks, the 2008 financial crisis, the 1987 stock market crash and both Persian Gulf Wars.
Cavuto is also the author of two New York Times best-selling books.
