Amir Bibawy has been promoted to managing editor for “Marketplace.”
He previously has been New York bureau chief and senior editor at the radio show since November 2018.
Bibawy previously worked at the Associated Press as a news producer and as editor of the breaking news desk. He was a digital television producer at Thomson Reuters.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from American University in Cairo and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. He also has a master’s degree from the London School of Economics.
