Suryatapa Bhattacharya has moved to the Wall Street Journal’s Los Angeles bureau and become a speed and trending desk reporter.
She previously spent six years in The Journal’s Tokyo bureau and two years in its New Delhi bureau.
Bhattacharya previously worked as a reporter at The National News in Abu Dhabi and India, and as a reporter for The Toronto Star. She was also an associate editor at Faze Media in Toronto.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton University.
