Nathan Becker has been hired by Sherwood Media as its business editor.
Sherwood is the news site from Robinhood.
“I’m particularly interested in Robinhood and Sherwood’s mission to bring investing and business knowledge to more people, especially those who traditionally haven’t been served that type of news,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
Becker previously was the finance editor at The Information before leaving in April. Becker joined The Information in September 2022.
He previously was at The Wall Street Journal, where he helped lead the paper’s renowned team covering deals and Wall Street. He also ran the breaking news desk at the Journal and first joined Dow Jones in 2008.
Becker was a Knight-Bagehot fellow and got his MBA from Columbia. He holds an undergraduate degree from Truman State University
