BBC.com is expanding its tech coverage

BBC.com announced Thursday that it is expanding its technology coverage.

It is launching “Keeping Tabs,” a weekly technology column by BBC senior technology journalist Thomas Germain. His debut column uncovering the hidden AI quietly editing every photo you take is available here.

A video podcast show called “The Interface” will launch next week. It is hosted by Germain, Karen Hao (author of ”Empire of AI”), and Nicky Woolf  (host of “Finding Q: My Journey into QAnon” and “Fur & Loathing”).

A story series called “Intelligence Revolution” will launch Feb. 26 and  explore how artificial intelligence is enabling breakthroughs once thought impossible, transforming industries from health care to transportation.

The launch follows the introduction of a dedicated health vertical on BBC.com in January.

BBC.com delivered strong audience growth in 2025, posting double-digit gains up 12% in North America and 13% globally. The success was driven by a record-breaking September in the U.S., which saw 77 million visitors and BBC.com’s highest-ever Comscore ranking at #13.
