Samira Hussain, the BBC’s business correspondent in New York, is leaving that post to become BBC’s South Asia correspondent.
She will be based in Delhi.
Hussain spent eight years working for the CBC in Toronto, Ottawa and Washington, DC, before moving to New York City and landing at the BBC.
She also worked as a producer for Reuters.
Hussain holds a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree from Western University.
