After a short stint in consulting at Control Risks, Mick Basa is back at Mergermarket as a financial journalist to cover Southeast Asia.
Previously, he was a financial reporter at Mergermarket, and before that, an ECM reporter at Dealreporter. He also served as an editorial assistant, Asia Pacific for Mergermarket and Dealreporter.
He also contributed to Al Jazeera and was a correspondent at Rappler.
Basa graduated from Ateneo de Davao University.
