We are pleased to announce J.J. Thompson Rowe has joined Barron’s as a full-time editor, joining the digital editing desk after working as a contractor since April. J.J. works an evening shift for us, ending her day at 8 p.m.
In addition to editing for the site, J.J. oversees the homepage and mobile alerts in the evenings.
J.J. joins after spending most of her career with The Associated Press in New York, where she worked as a national news editor and shift supervisor. As a freelancer, she wrote for The Wall Street Journal and worked as a curator for Facebook.
While she has bungee jumped out of a hot air balloon in New Jersey and gone skydiving in New Zealand, she generally prefers quieter (and safer!) pursuits such as kayaking on a quiet lake.
Please join us in welcoming her to Barron’s.
