Andrew Barker, a senior features writer at Variety, will leave after 14 years with the publication.
Barker tweets:
“Got a bit of the old personal/professional news: today will be my last day at Variety. Sincere thanks to everyone who put up with my bullshit for the last 14 years.”
Barker also edited Variety’s Focus features department and reviewed film and music. He also worked as a freelance writer and critic for other entertainment publications and is a member of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association since 2009.
Barker graduated from the University of Southern California.
