Reuters has named Davide Barbuscia as its U.S. investment correspondent, based in New York.
Barbuscia has been chief economics correspondent for the Gulf region based in the United Arab Emirates. He was also Middle East fixed income correspondent for three years.
Before joining Reuters in 2016, Barbuscia was at Debtwire, reporting on and directing coverage of the loan market across Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. He was also a reporter at ICIS.
He holds a PhD in English and American literature from the University of Florence.
