Project topics covered personal finance, technology, small businesses, leadership, and sustainability. She joined the company as a special projects fellow in 2019 and became editor in 2021.
In her first professional journalism job, she covered Compton, California, as a Los Angeles Wave Newspapers contributing writer.
Overs was editor-in-chief of The Bulletin, the college newspaper, while pursuing a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
