Axios has hired Aaron Weitzman to cover health technology.
Weitzman has been covering buyouts for Buyouts Insider since 2021.
He had been a reporter at The Bond Buyer, an Arizent publication, where he had worked since December 2014 covering the sell side of the municipal bond market, focusing on daily coverage of the muni primary and secondary markets, as well as reporting on the underwriters and bond insurers.
He wrote a daily column that focused on numerous economic indicators that get released each day and talked to analysts and economists about what the numbers mean and trends they are seeing. Weitzman previously worked at Floor Covering Weekly.
He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
