Axios has hired Amy Harder to be its national energy correspondent.
She will start on Sept. 8.
For the past four years, she has been founding executive editor of Cipher, a news publication supported by Breakthrough Energy.
Harder previously was an energy reporter for Axios, writing the weekly “Harder Line” column. She also covered energy for The Wall Street Journal and the National Journal.
Harder is a graduate of Western Washington University.
