Axios has hired Ryan Barwick to cover deal making.
He previously was at Morning Brew, working on its marketing email newsletter.
Barwick has been at Adweek since 2019. He had been covering the travel sector, including news regarding airlines, hotels, and cruise ships.
Barwick was a broadcast associate for CBS News in his previous role, from July 2018 to July 2019. Prior to his time at CBS News, Barwick covered corporate interests at the Center for Public Integrity. In addition, he was also the executive editor of UDReview from February 2014 to May 2017.
He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2017.
