Axios biz and markets managing editor David joins CBS as contributor

CBS News has tapped Javier E. David to serve as a contributor for its streaming network, where he will cover business, markets and the economy. David is a business and markets managing editor at Axios.

Before that, he was an editor at Yahoo Finance, focused on markets and the economy. He covered technology, capital markets, macroeconomics, Wall Street and finance for CNBC and reported for Dow Jones Newswires/The Wall Street Journal.

He also worked at Reuters.

David has a B.A. from Long Island University and a M.P.A. from Columbia | SIPA.
