Axios adds San Diego, WaPo’s sports investigative reporter, a Philly sportswriting vet retires

Axios Local is a hit in Chicago and elsewhere; now it’s San Diego’s turn as Kate Murphy and Andrew Keatts (pictured) will co-launch a newsletter next week. Albert Samaha will join the Washington Post as a sports investigative reporter next month, and after more than four decades at Philly’s Delaware county times, sportswriter Terry Toohey has announced his retirement.
