Axelrod joins Bloomberg Government to report on government contracts

Bloomberg Government has tapped Josh Axelrod as a reporter covering government contracts.

He joins from The American Independent in Washington, where he was a political reporter.

Before that, he was an associate producer at CNN and has also reported for NJ Advance Media, where he covered all aspects of the pandemic. He was also a digital content editor at The Times-Picayune in New Orleans.

He has also interned at NPR and CNN.

Axelrod graduated from Tulane University.
