Atlanta Journal-Constitution taps Trubey as economy editor

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has promoted Scott Trubey to the post of economy editor.

Previously, Trubey worked on the paper’s investigations team. Before that, he covered commercial real estate and economic development. He has also reported on banking and finance for the Journal-Constitution.

He has also covered hospitality, airlines, banking and finance for the Atlanta Business Chronicle. He has also worked at The Augusta Chronicle from September 2005 to May 2008.

Trubey is a University of Georgia graduate.
