Jonathan Ponciano, an associate editor at Forbes, has left the magazine to attend Columbia University’s business school for his MBA.
He joined Forbes in 2018 as an assistant editor for investing.
Ponciano previously wrote for Investopedia. Ponciano studied business journalism and economics at UNC-Chapel Hill, where he wrote news and blog posts for the Kenan-Flagler Business School as a marketing and communications assistant, covering everything from faculty research to industry conferences.
He also spent time reporting on the private sector for Los Angeles Business Journal and working for NC Business News Wire, writing breaking news about North Carolina public companies.
Some of the topics he’s covered include global market trends in commercial real estate, socially responsible investing and the rapid growth of foreign investment in the United States.
