Silvia Ascarelli, deputy commentary editor at MarketWatch.com, has retired from the Dow Jones publication.
She also wrote the Where Should I Retire?” column.
Ascarelli previously was a senior news editor at MarketWatch and edited the home page.
She spent more than 18 years at The Wall Street Journal as a reporter in Frankfurt and London and then as a news editor for the Money & Investing section.
Ascarelli also worked as a reporter for The Jersey Journal. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri.
