Associated Press reporter Fatima Hussein is now covering health care policy.
She has been covering the Treasury Department for the AP for past five years.
Previously, Hussein had been covering worker safety and environmental law stories for Bloomberg Law and Bloomberg Environment. She has also been president of the Washington Baltimore News Guild.
Before Bloomberg, she was a legal affairs reporter at the Indianapolis Star and a legal and workplace reporter at the Cincinnati Enquirer. She was also a business reporter at the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Hussein holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida and a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.
