Alsharif joins the Toronto Star’s biz section

Ghada Alsharif

The Toronto Star has hired Ghada Alsharif as a staff writer on its business section to cover workers’ rights and affordability among other topics.

Alsharif had been working at the Star since January 2020. She reported in Lebanon for newspaper publisher L’Orient-Le Jour and The Daily Star.

Alsharif has a B.A. from the University of Toronto.
