Jack Dutton has joined Al-Monitor as chief business correspondent, based in Europe.
Recently, he was a freelance correspondent at Newsweek, based in South Africa. There, he wrote four stories a day, focused on politics and international affairs.
Previously, Dutton was a night editor at The National, a leading English language newspaper based in the Middle East. He also worked as a reporter, senior reporter and editor at Euromoney Institutional Investor and freelanced for Metro.
Dutton has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Sussex and a master’s degree from City University of London.
