Kristina Peterson, who covered food and agriculture policy from The Wall Street Journal’s Washington bureau, was among the layoffs.
She previously covered Congress and the Federal Reserve. Peterson has been at the Journal since 2009.
Peterson previously worked at the Palo Alto Daily News.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a master’s degree from Columbia University.
