Bhargav Acharya has taken over the role of breaking news correspondent – sub-Saharan Africa at Reuters.
Acharya has been with Reuters for more than four years.
He joined in June 2018 as a trainee journalist and then became a correspondent in December. Before that, he interned at National Maritime Foundation in New Delhi, India.
Acharya has a BSc. from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore and a M.A. from Christ University, Bangalore.
