ACBJ’s Ellis departs for new opportunity

Kyle Ellis

Kyle Ellis, director of product and user experience at the American City Business Journals, has left to pursue a new opportunity.

In his role as director of product and user experience he created digital experiences that support e-commerce, editorial, event ticketing, growth, newsletters, SEO, and subscriptions. Before that, he served as product manager and senior product manager.

He also worked as director of strategic programs at the Society for News Design, where he co-authored, awarded, and executed two grants from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation to promote journalism innovation.

He has also worked as a designer at CNN, the Las Vegas Sun and the New York Post.

Ellis has a bachelor´s degree in journalism (graphics) from Ball State University.
