Plans are under way to form an advisory committee for the Southern California Business Report, a show focused on highlighting the region’s successful businesses and the people behind them. The show was inaugurated two years ago and is hosted by Yvette Walker.
The show will seek “input from some of Southern California’s greatest leaders and trailblazers from a variety of fields, with the goal of creating a positive media channel that is focused on solutions, opportunities, and successes,” as per reports.
Walker said:
“This advisory committee will take claim as true stakeholders of the platform that is Southern California Business Report to have a unified and timely voice for the communities we serve. Together, we will create a catalyst for our business community and our burgeoning region at large knowing they will take away something of value, be it an idea or resource through the lens of solutions, opportunity and success.
“We will use this platform as an opportunity to bridge the gap between our business community workforce projections and career pathways of the future for our next generation through collaborative educational events and scholarships.”
