A grim WSJ anniversary, NPR’s new podcast chief, WaPo buyout blues

Emma Tucker, editor-in-chief of The Wall Street Journal, has sent out to staff an email on the “appalling milestone” of 250 days in Russian captivity for reporter Evan Gershkovich (pictured). NPR has appointed Collin Campbell as its new podcast chief. And at The Washington Post, layoffs loom as just half of 240 staff buyouts have been taken.
