Zahra Tayeb has been hired by 9fin to cover distressed debt in North America.
She recently earned her master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Tayeb previously was news production assistant for CNBC in London. Tayeb previously was a markets reporter for Business Insider in London. She started as a junior business reporter on the weekend business team following the completion of her fellowship.
Previously, she was an editorial intern at Wonderland Magazine and Conde Nast Britain. She has also freelanced for WWD and was a summer analyst at Henderson Chambers and the BBC.
