Justina Lee has been hired by CNBC as a reporter in Singapore.

Lee will cover Asia Pacific’s financial markets, reporting on stocks, bonds, foreign exchange, cryptocurrencies, and macroeconomics, while reacting to breaking news and advancing stories through analysis and original reporting.

“We’re excited to have Justina join us at a time when audiences demand faster, sharper insights into markets across Asia Pacific,” said Spriha Srivastava, vice president and executive editor for digital for CNBC International, in a statement. “Justina’s role will be critical to strengthen our real-time markets coverage across the region.”

Lee has held reporting and editorial roles at Nikkei, Dow Jones Newswires, and Bloomberg, where she recently served as a Breaking News Earnings Specialist. In her time at Bloomberg, Lee was a core member of the “Asia Earnings Week Ahead” team, helping to connect the dots across earning trends and producing stories that highlighted those insights.

She graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Japanese.
