Yahoo Finance will debut next week “Morning Brief: Market Sunrise,” a live show streaming from its London-based studio at 7 a.m. ET.
The show is anchored by veteran business correspondent Ramzan Karmali, who worked at Reuters and BBC News. The show will focus on global markets and U.S. futures, along with interviews.
“Morning Brief: Market Sunrise” will be the company’s first live show produced outside of the U.S.
The show is part of Yahoo Finance’s strategy of offering live and on-demand content five days a week. With the addition of the show, the Yahoo Finance’s market day programming will span from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST daily.
“At Yahoo Finance, we’re focused on building a newsroom that reflects the pace and priorities of the modern investor,” said Anthony Galloway, head of content, Yahoo Finance, in a statement. “Through our first live UK-based show and new programming formats, we hope to offer actionable financial information with unbeatable context that will help investors stay informed, regardless of what time zone they live in.”
Yahoo Finance is also expanding its market coverage by offering 24-hour pricing updates for U.S. stocks and ETFs. Previously, investors had to wait for pre-market or regular hours to see how news impacted prices.
