Darcy writes, “Vox Media’s Code Conference, an annual gathering that features the biggest names in Silicon Valley sit for news-making interviews, will not take place this year, people familiar with the matter told me. Outside missing a year for the pandemic, it’s the first time the annual confab has not taken place in its more than two-decade history.
“A spokesperson for Vox Media confirmed that the conference has been put on hold. The spokesperson referred to Code as a ‘strong franchise,’ but declined to share further information about its future.
“When — or whether — Code ultimately returns remains to be seen.”
