Brian Ponte has joined Ignites, an Financial Times Specialist title, as a reporter covering emerging tech and marketing in the retail asset management industry.
Ponte joined FT Specialist as a newsroom fellow in June 2021. In that role he contributed to other FT Specialist titles, including BoardIQ and FundFire.
He is a graduate of SUNY Purchase, where he earned a journalism degree and was a Mike McNickle Journalism Award winner. There, he was editor-in-chief of The Purchase Phoenix.
Prior to that he was editor in chief for The Viking News of Westchester Community College.
