Zittel takes on expanded role at NY Times

Brian Zittel

The New York Times has appointed Brian Zittel managing editor for both Op-Ed and newsletters. He previously launched Opinion’s newsletter portfolio and serves as editor of the Opinion pages.

Zittel has been with The Times for over 8 years.

Zittel will focus on coordinating The Times’ daily line-up of guest essays and newsletters to ensure smooth workflow and execution. He will also help support the Op-Ed team while continuing to oversee newsletters.
