The Associated Press has hired Curtis Yee as an editor based in Washington. Since 2019, he has freelanced on the intersection or faith and society.
Prior to joining The Associated Press, Yee was a copy editor at the New York Magazine, a post he also held at FiveThirtyEight. He also held the posts of staff reporter and digital editor at Sactown Magazine in Sacramento.
He also co-founded UC San Diego’s only digital-first non-profit student news organization.
Yee graduated from the University of California San Diego.
