Yang joins FiveThirtyEight as editor/reporter

Tia Yang

Tia Yang has joined FiveThirtyEight as editor/reporter. She wrote on X/Twitter:

“I’ll be around helping with coverage through early May. Still based in Philly but may pop over to DC and NY. Send your tips here: tia.yang@abc.com”

Previously, Yang worked at CQ and Roll Call for more than four years. There, she joined as a floor action reporter covering breaking news related to floor and procedural action in the U.S. House and Senate.

Later, she took on the role of editor.

From June 2016 to August 2016, she interned at CQ and Roll Call. She also reported for the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Yang has a B.A. in history and political science from the University of Pennsylvania.
