News startup The Messenger has hired Adam Wollner as an editor for Congress and the White House.
Recently, Wollner was at CNN, where he served as editor of “The Point,” a multiplatform analysis section covering top news from Capitol Hill, White House and the campaign trail.
At McClatchy, he held correspondent for posts politics and special projects, as well as politics editor and deputy editor.
He worked at the National Journal for more than four years holding various roles, including political correspondent and congressional correspondent.
He interned at NPR and the Centre for Public Integrity.
Wollner has a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
