WNYC taps Bocanegra as reporter

Michelle Bocanegra

Michelle Bocanegra is joining WNYC as a reporter. Recently, she has been working as an education reporter at Politico, covering K-12 and higher education across New York.

Bocanegra joined Politico in 2019 as an intern and has also worked as a contributor. She has also interned at amNewYork and worked at Law360. She has also worked freelance.

Bocanegra earned a bachelor’s degree from New York University and a M.S. from Columbia University, New York.
