Wimbley swaps the Post-Gazette for CPR

Lacretia Wimbley

Lacretia Wimbley has stepped down from her post as president of the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh. Currently, she is a breaking news reporter at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, which she will be leaving in a month or so to join the Colorado Public Radio as a second justice reporter.

She was also a page designer/copy editor at the Post-Gazette. She has also been a member of the National Association of Black Journalists and the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation.

She was also a stringer at The Associated Press.

Wimbley graduated from Mississippi State University.
