Matt Williams has been appointed executive digital editor at ITV News.
He has been with the network for more than 18 years, joining as an assistant news editor. He then became Northern producer, responsible for ITV News’ Northern bureau. He then served as news editor and was then named Washington D.C. news editor.
Recently, he was head of home news at the network.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism from University of Leeds.
