Wigglesworth to cover wildfires for LA Times

The Los Angeles Times has tapped Alex Wigglesworth as a reporter covering wildfires while also reporting on breaking news during fire season and diving deeply into the ecological, climate, economic and political facets of the topic.

Wigglesworth has been with the Times since 2016 and has also served as a breaking news reporter and as a digital editor.

She has also covered breaking news, news features and investigations for publication on Philly.com and in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News.

She has also worked as a reporter and interim city editor at Metro Newspaper.

Wigglesworth is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania.
