Nonprofit news outlet The Examination has hired Miriam Wells as an impact editor and deputy development director. Recently, she was at the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, where she worked for more than seven years.
During this time, Wells held the posts of production editor and impact editor. She also worked as a senior editor at Vice News, and as a correspondent at The Sunday Times, The New York Times, Foreign Policy and the Christian Science Monitor.
She also served as an assistant producer and broadcast journalist at BBC News.
Wells has a B.A. from the University of Nottingham.
