The States Newsroom has named Janine Weisman Rhode Island editor in chief to cover state government and the impact of public policy.
Weisman is an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University and was interim director of marketing and communications at Naval War College Foundation. She contributed to New England Psychologist.
She was a senior digital editor and producer at GateHouse Media.
Weisman has a B.A. from Rhode Island College and a M.A. from the University of Maine.
